Choo choo train at the mall.

We did a little shopping with my mom last weekend. My girls love hanging out with their Dowewita and the mall is the perfect place to take them. My mom is so patient with them and will do anything to make them happy. This time, she got on the choo choo train with them. My mom said Hazel screamed, laughed and roared the whole time.

Model Homes.

Two weekends ago we walked around some model homes by our house. We're not looking into buying a new house, we just need more ideas on how to decorate our master room and our backyard. I'm always looking at ideas on Pinterest, but looking at model homes is more exciting. Sofia runs through the homes "choosing" which one would be her room. Brian doesn't mind taking me. He actually likes it too! I think he's favorite part is looking at the different floor plans. I just like looking at different furniture, home decor, and the way the homes are painted. These are some of the ideas I loved in some of the houses we saw.

Camp Tontozona 2013

The Tradition Continues. That was the big advertizing for Camp Tontozona. We went to ASU's scrimmage game today up in Payson. The girls had a great time. Sofia made new friends {like always} and played by the creek. Hazel stayed up the whole time we were at the game. Brian enjoyed football and I enjoyed making memories with the one's I love the most. We had so much fun at Camp Tontozona, we decided to make it a Mortensen Family Tradition. Of course, next year we will be more prepared and we will know what to expect.

And part of the tradition is to eat at this diner. They have really good food.

Oh, and we will remember not to give Hazel chocolate chip cookies. She will make a huge mess.

This week has been.. dumb! I just want to get away with my handsome man to a place we've both been wanting to go for the longest time.. Costa Rica!

Costa Rica is on our "before we turn 30" list, and let tell you our "before we turn 30" list is pretty long! Luckily we both speak Spanish so the language will not be a barrier {which is the perfect excuse to use to visit all these awesome countries}. Brian served his mission in North Carolina and there were a lot of Costa Rican's {Ticos} and they always told him to go visit Costa Rica because it was a beautiful place. I've seen a ton of pictures and it is. Even my biology book glorified Costa Rica saying it was the greenest country in the world.

 Brian likes doing a big Christmas gift for both of us, one year it was a 55' TV, last year it was Puerto Rico.. so maybe I'll be in Costa Rica this December. Maybe.

But right now Costa Rica is just a dream anxiously waiting to come true.

Sofia likes going out to lunch as a family every Saturday. We take turns choosing the place, and every time it's Sofia's turn she chooses Chick Fil A.
