QCPAC The Aristocats; Sofia's first play.

My sweet Sofia loves being on stage. She loves to sing, dance, and act, and she's good at it. She played an Alley Cat in The Aristocats. Her character was supposed to be sassy and fierce and Sofia had no problem showing the audience how sassy and fierce she can be. I am so proud of her, and will continue to support her. Go Sofia!!

Halloween 2014

This year for Halloween, I had The Little Mermaid, an Adorable Monster, and Little Red Riding Hood. We also trick or treated in our new neighborhood! There were a lot of kids! Hazel had so much fun, she even had the energy to keep up with Sofia. Ryker was good for like an hour and then he was ready to go home and sleep. The kids got a lot of candy and most of it was donated to all of their cousins in Mexico.

Vertuccio Farms 2014

This was our first time going to Vertuccio Farms and we had so much fun! My kids enjoyed every minute we were there! There was so much to do, I was so tired by the end of our trip. We will definitely go back!

Ryker's baby blessing.

Our sweet baby boy Ryker was blessed August 24th, 2014 in our new home. Ryker's baby blessing outfit was very special because Grandpa Les, Michael {Brian's older brother}, and Brian were all blessed in it.

Camp Tontozona 2014

This was our 2nd year going to Camp Tontozona. The Bealls came with us and even though it was brutally hot we had fun! Hazel is still scared of Sparky and I don't blame her. He has a scary face. Sofia had fun exploring and collecting stuff. This year we left the practice game a little early, therefore we didn't get to take pictures with the players. But, Sofia and I were interviewed to be on TV! We were asked why was camp tontozona amazing and this is what Sofia said -"we came to camp tontozona because my grandma owns a cabin up here." The reporter laughed.

Choo Choo Train

There's been times I take my kids to Chandler Mall just so they can ride the train and buy them ice cream from Cold Stone. Yes, I'm that kind of mom.

Ryker enjoys bath time!

My handsome little man loves bath time! I would say it's his favorite part of the day. And to be honest, it's my favorite part of the day too.

I love my little man!

Sofia started 2nd Grade.

Sofia started a new chapter in her life- 2nd grade.
This year we're at a new school- Queen Creek Elementary.
It literally took me all summer to decide what school to send her to, but after I toured QCE I just knew that was the school for us. This year we don't have to wear uniforms! Sofia is so happy about that and wants to dress like Alex from Wizards of Waverly Place. The hard part about no uniforms is that some kids wear immodest clothes. Luckily Sofia knows that dressing modest is very important.
We know 2nd grade will be a year of learning and reaching many milestones.
Sofia's teacher, Mr. Willie seems to have everything under control.
This is the first year we have a male teacher, and when Sofia first heard "Mr." she frowned and said "I wanted a girl teacher." But when we met him we thought he was the coolest guy ever! He kinda even looks like daddy, except with red hair and freckles.
We're excited for 2nd grade, the new school, new friends, Mr. Willie, and all the adventures that will come with this school year.

First day of second grade.

 Sisters & best friends.

Another new thing for is us the school bus. Yep, this year Sofia will be riding the bus to school. QCE is K-4 {which was one of the main reasons why I chose that school}, and so only the "little" kids are on the bus. Everyone in my community is very involved with school, so we decided to give it a try and ride the bus. The first day was a hit!

Here are the girls walking to the bus stop.

Sofia at the bus stop.

When the bus finally came, Hazel started to cry. She realized the bus was taking Sofia for the whole entire day. She screamed and yelled "No Sofia, NOOOO!!" She even reached her tiny hands to Sofia like saying please take me with you. The rest of the day Hazel kept saying "el camion se llevo a la Sofia," "the bus took Sofia." She probably cried for a good hour after Sofia left. Poor Hazel, she missed her big sister.

Here's my big girl. She did it! She got on the bus and had a wonderful first day of school.
Here's to an amazing year!
